Stockholm Exhibition

Following my sophomore year at JMU, I studied in Stockholm, Sweden as a part of a Participatory Design Practice. Scandinavia is a design epicenter that is bursting with history, culture and modern technology. After learning about urban planning, graphic design, industrial design, and interactive design, our group of 20 was instructed to put on an Art exhibit based off of Swedish culture once we were back in the states. This experience taught me a monumental amount regarding design and collaborating design with a team. Below I will attach a few photos of our exhibit.

Each team was split into a separate group, including home, water, food, and parks. Based off of what we learned about minimalism, design, and overall lifestyle we were required to work alongside our groups to create a Stockholm experienec back in the U.S. This art gallery exhibition was created from scratch, and we wanted to make it feel like viewers were travelling to experience Stockholm in Harrisonburg, Virginia. I am extremely proud with the outcome of this exhibit.
